Dr. Meghan O’Brien, MD, MBE named DHM Director of Faculty Development
Dr. O’Brien has been named the ZSFG DHM Director of Faculty Development. She brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical education. As an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCSF, she has been a pivotal figure in clinical practice and education at ZSFG.

Dr. Oanh Nguyen named Chief of ZSFG Hospital Medicine
Dr. Oanh Nguyen has been named the new chief of the Division of Hospital Medicine at ZSFG, effective November 1, 2024. Oanh is an Associate Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine at ZSFG, and a hospital medicine physician deeply committed to advancing care in safety-net settings and serving historically marginalized communities.
Dr. Ari Johnon's Muso Health awarded Kristof Holiday Impact Prize
Dr. Ari Johnson was awarded the prestigious Kristof Holiday Impact Prize for Muso Health—a $150,000 cash award created by NYT columnist Nicholas Kristof to recognize and amplify organizations that are literally changing the world.
Medical Grand Rounds
